What we often do in Loulé

Land clearing

Around Salir, Alte and in the serra the fire rule is strict: 50 metres around the house kept clear. We handle stumps, rocks and levelling with the machine.

Rocks and foundations

In the barrocal there is often limestone under a layer of red soil. A terrace, foundation or pool here starts with digging out rock.

Gardens on the coast

Around Quarteira and Vilamoura it is more often small gardens and tight spaces, where the 1-tonne digger comes in.

The ground around Loulé

Sand and apartments on the coast; in the middle the barrocal with red soil, limestone, olive and carob trees; and in the north the serra with schist and steep slopes. In the barrocal, rock is the rule rather than the exception.

If your plot is in the serra, check first whether the access road can take the low-loader. Sometimes the machine has to drive the last stretch itself; that takes time and is included in the price.
